Premier Wellness Provider Selected to Redesign and Manage Spa and Fitness Center at Luxurious Oceanfront Property

NEW YORK, NY, February 25, 2009 – Plus One Health Management, Inc. continues to expand its presence along the West Coast, most recently having been selected by Loews Hotels and Strategic Hotels and Resorts to redesign and manage the Ocean Spa and Fitness facility in the lobby level of the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel. Located on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, California, the 7,000 square foot spa and fitness center overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is open to both the local community and hotel guests. 

Even before officially taking over the space in January, Plus One’s Design and Development team was hard at work developing a new vision and aesthetic for the facility in conjunction with Loews’ management. That work allowed renovations to begin even earlier than expected, with a much anticipated grand re-opening of Ocean Spa and Fitness planned for mid to late March. Members and guests will be able to enjoy state-of-the-art fitness equipment, upgraded locker rooms, new paint and artwork throughout the facility, as well as new rubber flooring in the fitness area, and plush carpets in the hallways, locker rooms, and spa area. 

In addition to cosmetic upgrades, Plus One plans to elevate the overall experience for members and guests of Ocean Spa and Fitness with its customized and proprietary systems for hospitality, spa, and exercise program delivery. Planned offerings will focus on providing a complete wellness transformation including customized spa experiences, personalized fitness programs, strength and conditioning classes, nutritional coaching, and educational seminars.
